Wonderful news! Our health care facilities are starting to invite us back after lock down to offer our valuable Pets As Therapy service.

We are now seeking volunteers especially in the following areas of Sydney, NSW.

Hornsby, Castle Hill, Pennant Hills, Northern Beaches, Liverpool and the inner city.

We are seeking compassionate, reliable, people who are healthy enough to walk around a nursing home or hospital, who enjoy talking confidently with folk from all walks of life, that have a few hours to spare, twice a month, with a healthy, friendly, confident, well mannered dog.

Research has shown that volunteering is great for our health. It keeps us active, social and involved in the community. Volunteering prevents loneliness, teaches us new skills, and gives the opportunity to be involved in something that is truly worthwhile.

Volunteers are said to be healthier, happier and even live longer.
